Meet Lina

Learn a little bit more about me.

Hi! I'm Katalina Enriquez, born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My love for photography began in high school when my parents gifted my brother and me a shared camera. At first, I used our camera as a fun way to make Instagram posts for me and my friends. I then joined my high school yearbook team, began volunteering as the photographer and eventually served as the photo editor during my junior and senior year.

When I headed to the University of Florida to pursue a degree in Journalism, I thought photography might take a backseat however, I jumped at the opportunity to specialize in photography. Guided by my talented professors and photojournalists, I delved into sports and fashion photography, leading me to a role with Gators Athletics. For two and a half years, I captured a range of sporting events, including football, basketball, track & field, tennis, lacrosse, soccer, and swim & dive.

Determined to expand my horizons, I applied to Strike Magazine, a prominent fashion publication in Gainesville. Despite initial rejections, I didn’t want to give up so I emailed the editors pleading for a spot in the fall of my Sophomore year. After securing a position as an assistant, I was honored to serve as the photo director during my junior and senior years.

Now, as a recent UF graduate, I’ve returned to South Florida to dedicate myself to photography full-time. My experiences have sharpened my skills and work ethic, and I’m adept at working with athletes, models, couples, and everyday people. Whether it’s capturing a dynamic sports moment or a fashion shoot, I’m passionate about it all.

I would love to hear about the story that you want to tell! Shoot me an email at linamenri@gmail.com or DM me on @linamenri on Instagram to discuss bookings.
